Pledging for Progress
MOTOR CITY CHURCH
The Historic Motor City Missionary Baptist Church (Motor City Church) is located at 4461 28th Street, in Detroit, Michigan. We are housed in a wood frame Victorian Gothic Building, located in one of the improvised neighborhoods in Detroit. The Church and School buildings are in disarray, needing major repairs to the roof, windows, heating and in
some instances, the flooring. The church, erected in 1891 and there has been no ongoing upkeep to the church.
Eighty (80%) per cent of the church’s membership are children, which is why it so important that our church doors remain open and why we need your help. The few adult members we have are faithful tithers, but the income is not enough to meet our need.
Therefore, the church has developed "Pledging for Progress" which will help us meet our financial need to obtain materials and labor for much needed renovations and repairs. Motor City Church is offering four (4) levels of pledging:
- Bronze for a donation of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars
- Silver for a donation of One thousand ($1,000.00) Dollars
- Gold for a donation of One Thousand Five Hundred ($1,500.00) Dollars; and
- Platinum for a donation of Two Thousand ($2,000.00) Dollars.
All pledges are tax deductible. Please click on the "Donate" button below. When completing the attach form, please indicate your donation is for the "Pledging for Progress" button. Include the Pledge Level of Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum. Please complete the donor information, including address so that we can forward your tax deductible donation receipt to you.
